Make no mistake: Tom Randles is a
gifted, award winning musician. He's also and award winning
television broadcaster, who got his musical start at a
conservatory of music in northern Indiana, at the age of 7.
Tom credits his dad, Thomas Senior,
with helping him explore and appreciate his musical roots. As a
young child, Tom Randles played in a gospel group.
But, Tom and his older brother,
Andre, had other ideas. They loved modern music, everything from
Motown hits to "Tower of Power". And by the time they got to high
school, they were already touring the Midwest with various R&B
bands.
On several
occasions, Randles and his fellow band members even shared the
stage with major acts, including, The Chi-Lites, Frankie Beverly
and Maze, The Brothers Johnson, Billy Preston, and others.
